The Atlanta Braves signed right-handed reliever Scott Proctor to a one-year deal worth $750,000 guaranteed with another $250,000 in incentives. Proctor, 32, missed all of last season after having Tommy John surgery.
Proctor is best known as Joe Torre’s workhorse back in their Yankee days. Proctor can be a very effective reliever when healthy. This is a good low-risk signing by Atlanta.
